All Accent work surfaces are book-matched wood veneers to ensure high aesthetic quality. Accent tops are 1 9/16”, panel leg gables 1 3/16”, and back panels are 3/4” thick. Our pedestal drawers are fitted with top quality hardware - built to last and retain its original performance. Standard Desk uses full extension progressive ball bearing slides on all box drawers. For unmatched quality, an adjustable divider and a pencil tray with convenience compartments come standard in solid maple for one box drawer in every Accent 1 desk. Every Accent2 include a molded plastic tray for one the 24" or 30" deep pedestals.

Standard Desk uses full extension progressive ball bearing slides on all file drawers for maximum efficiency. File drawers in pedestals include suspended file supports that accommodate letter and legal size hanging folders. For added security, a front gang lock is included on all pull out drawers, i.e. pedestals, lateral file drawers, credenza drawers, etc.

All lateral file units have one front lock to lock all drawers. Where indicated, units have an interlocking system which will allow only one drawer to be opened at a time. Lateral file units include suspended file supports that accommodate letter and legal size hanging folders.

Accent hutches operate on concealed hinges that permit a 110° throw and are equipped with a self-closing spring device. You have several choices: a height of 38" or 42", wood or glass doors, glazed glass (standard) or transparent, adjustable shelf or pigeonholes. Hutches mount on desks, returns, or credenzas without mechanical fasteners; Velcro™ strips keep hutches in place. The interior height of the 38" hutch is 12 1/2", which easily accommodates letter-size binders. The 42" hutch offers the choice of a 16 1/2" opening with one adjustable shelf, or a 12 1/2" opening with a pigeonhole. Hutches placed over desks or credenzas will be a total 67” or 71" high, depending on the height of the hutch, approximately 1 9/16” lower than the 68” and 72" high components.

Upper storage cabinets may be installed as suspended units between hutches, corner fillers, wardrobes, etc. Please specify when ordering to receive proper installation hardware.

Other options are also available to personalize every office environment. An optional pencil drawer with convenience compartments can be installed as a center drawer on any table desk; it is constructed of a mold injection high impact polymer, and operates on ball bearing slides.

Locks can be added to hinged doors on hutches, credenzas, returns, bookcases, wardrobes, etc. A number of different pulls are available to complement your Accent furniture.
