How do I buy your
products?
Standard Desk is a Business-to-Business oriented company.
We deal with professionals in the office furniture trade:
Contract Dealers, Retailers, Architects & Designers, etc.
We are suppliers for the GSA and many State Contracts. If
you are an individual interested in our products, we will
gladly refer you to a professional who will assist you with
your office furniture needs.
Where can I visit
Standard Desk products?
To visit our products in person, please click on the Where
to Find Us icon when browsing our products. From there,
you
can select the Standard Desk representative closest to your
location who will assist you.
How do I pay for
my order?
Upon receipt of your complete order form, our Credit department
will contact you to make arrangements for your payment.
How long will it
take to receive my order?
At the time that you place your order, our production team
goes to work on putting together your furniture request.
Your
order will leave our factory in an average time of 4 to 6
business weeks. Customer Service will provide you with an
estimated
arrival time for each of your orders.
How does my order
ship?
We ship most products from our warehouse in Laval, Quebec
to a transit warehouse in your area via a specialized carrier
who will bring it your loading dock.
What about
the installation?
Our furniture is shipped fully assembled in most cases. When
installation is required, all assembly instructions are supplied
with your shipment.
What about the
shipping costs?
We have agreements with carriers across North America. Please
verify with your local representative for the freight conditions
in your area.
Can you
ship international orders?
Yes. Standard Desk can ship to a domestic freight forwarder
of your choice for international shipment. Please contact
us via our Inquiry form, or email us at info@standarddesk.com
for any assistance.
What is the
warranty on the products?
Standard Desk warrants products found defective due to defects
in materials or workmanship within ten (10) years from date
of shipment. Standard Desk, at its option, will repair or
replace same. This warranty does not apply to damage or defects
resulting from negligence, misuse, alteration, improper installation,
improper cleaning or accidents. Standard Desk’s sole
determination will be final in all matters concerning the
condition of the merchandise, the cause or nature of the defect
or damage and the necessity or manner of repair. Color change
is an acceptable occurrence and Standard Desk does not warrant
fading or color change.
What if I receive
a damaged product?
Our packaging materials and packaging systems are designed
to minimize shipping damage, however, damage does sometimes
occur during transit. When the installer opens your packages,
carefully inspect all contents for evidence of shipping damage.
If you discover any shipping damage, have the installer immediately
contact our Customer Service department. Standard Desk and
the installer will take all the necessary steps to rectify
the situation.
However, if at any time you need assistance with resolving
an issue of shipping damage with the shipping company, please
promptly contact our Customer Service department toll-free

Edge 0, 1 or 2…
what does that mean?
In simple terms, it designates the number of flat edges (no
shape) on your unit. For example,
- Edge 0: If you choose Edge
0 in our S edge detail, all edges on your unit will be shaped
with the S edge detail,
- Edge 1: If you choose Edge
1 in our S edge detail, three edges on your unit will be
shaped with the S edge detail,
- Edge 2: If you choose
Edge 2 in our S edge detail, two edges on your unit will
be shaped
with the S edge detail.
