All Phase edges are made of solid wood, in your choice from
a selection of 4 species including oak, walnut, maple and
cherry. To further meet specific tastes, Phase is available
in 18 finishes and in two
diffrent grades. Our edge details match
the species and finish of our 1 9/16" tops in Grade 1
and 1 3/16" tops in Grade 2.
All Grade 1 (1 9/16")
tops are available in a choice of 8
solid wood edge details: D,K,M,N,P,Q, and R.
- All desks and table desks have edge details at front
and back, including an edge option at sides.
- Occasional tables have an edge detail on all sides.
- Corner and personal modules are detailed on three sides
and have a square edge at back.
- All other units have an edge detail at front, edge option
at sides and a square edge at back.
Choosing the correct edge detail is important when specifying
your furniture. Edges K, N, R & S reduce your actual work
surface for they are either chamfered or rounded. Connecting
surfaces to those 4 edges will require more attention to details.
Computer corners, extended credenzas and piano-shaped table
desk tops have a square edge on short sides. Please advise
when attaching a bridge or return to these units.
