All Phase 2 work surfaces are book-matched wood veneers to ensure high aesthetic quality. Phase 2 tops are 1 3/16”, panel leg gables 1 3/16”, and back panels are 3/4” thick. Drawer pedestal

Our durable pedestal drawers are fitted with top quality hardware - our furniture is built to last and retain its original performance. Standard Desk uses ¾ extension progressive ball bearing slides on all box drawers. An adjustable divider and a pencil tray with convenience compartments come standard for one box drawer in every desk. For unmatched quality, the pencil tray is constructed of a mold injection high impact polymer.
Standard Desk uses full extension progressive ball bearing slides on all file drawers for maximum efficiency. File drawers in pedestals include suspended file supports that accommodate letter and legal size hanging folders.

Hutch

To complement the dynamic design, Phase 2 hutches operate on concealed hinges that permit a 110 throw and are equipped with a self-closing spring device. Hutches mount on desks, returns, or credenzas without mechanical fasteners; Velcro strips keep hutches in place. The inside height of the hutch is 12 ½”, which easily accommodates standard, letter-size binders. Hutches placed over desks or credenzas will be a total 67” high, approximately 1 9/16” lower than the 68” high components.

Upper storage cabinets may be installed as suspended units between hutches, corner fillers, wardrobes, etc. Please specify when ordering to receive proper installation hardware.

For added security, a front gang lock is included on all pull out drawers, i.e. pedestals, lateral file drawers, credenza drawers, etc. As an extra option, locks can be added to hinged doors on hutches, credenzas, returns, bookcases, wardrobes, etc.

Pencil drawer

An optional pencil drawer with convenience compartments can be installed as a center drawer on any table desk. For unmatched quality, it is constructed of a mold injection high impact polymer, and operates on ball bearing slides.

Grommet

Where applicable, grommets and wire trays are available to facilitate all your wire management needs. In the high-tech office environment, these components are a must to maintain a professional look without comprising function!
